Alessandra Libonatti
Alessandra Libonatti has a degree in Languages and has worked as an EFL teacher since 2005. She started at Cultura Inglesa in 2006, as an online teacher, and in 2007 joined the Learning Factory team, creating online materials.
With her design skills, Alessandra has been assisting the Learning Factory team in a number of projects.

Ana Thornycroft
Ana Thornycroft started her career as an EFL teacher in 1986. She holds a BA in ELT and a postgraduate degree in Applied Linguistics.
She joined the Learning Factory team in 2003, and, as technology editor, she is in charge of the production and editing of the audio material and the development of multimedia class activities for all the Series. Ana is also responsible for the creation and/or editing of a number of IWB activities to be used in all courses.

Bob Lewis
Bob Lewis has a BA (Hons) in Politics and Government
and has worked in the field of EFL for 30 years firstly
as a language teacher and then in ELT publishing and distribution
in Brazil and South America. He has worked for major international
publishing houses and distributors both on a fulltime
basis and as a consultant. Bob joined the Cultura Inglesa
Rio/ Learning Factory in 2007 where he reports directly
to the CEO on matters related to developing external business
opportunities.

Bruno Lages
Bruno Cardoso Lages has worked as an EFL teacher since 1997. He studied at UFF, where he got a BA in Languages and two postgraduate degrees – in English Literatures and in Applied Linguistics. He also holds the RSA COTE and an MA in Applied Linguistics/UFRJ.
He started his career at the Cultura Inglesa in 2001, where he taught all age groups and worked as a consultant producing various materials, such as the revision of the Interlink Series. Bruno joined the Learning Factory Team in 2008, where he has worked as an editor. He is also in the training team and is involved in the production of digital materials, including IWB flipcharts.

Carla Chaves
Carla Chaves has worked as an EFL teacher since 1988, teaching young and adult Brazilian learners in language schools. She holds a BA in Pedagogy, the RSA Diploma (DOTE) and a post-graduate degree in Child Education at PUC-RJ.
In 1992, she started her career at the Cultura Inglesa, where she worked as a teacher, pedagogic and academic co-ordinator, course and material designer and as a teacher trainer. She is a co-author of “Fun and Games in English” , published by Delta Publishing, UK, 1999. In 2001 she joined the Learning Factory team becoming a co-author of the Interlink Series volumes 1, 2 and 3 and the author of Yellow Flash, Green Flash and Play in English. She has also edited Blue Flash, Red Flash and the Fun Factory Series . She is presently involved in the development and editing of IWB materials.

Márcia Nogueira
Márcia Nogueira has worked as an EFL teacher since 1986, teaching teenagers and adult Brazilian learners at Cultura Inglesa, Rio de Janeiro. She holds a BA in Sociology, the RSA Diploma (DOTE) and an MA in Applied Linguistics.
At Cultura Inglesa Márcia worked as a teacher, pedagogic and branch coordinator and as a branch manager. In 2002, she became a coordinator at Cultura Inglesa academic department, where she was involved in teacher training and in the development of materials for adolescent learners.
Márcia joined Learning Factory in 2003 becoming a co-author of the Action series.

Paula Boyce de Castro
Paula Boyce de Castro is from Scotland. She started her EFL career in 1986 and has experience teaching young and adult learners in Britain, Colombia, Indonesia and Brazil. She has an MA in Languages and Literature and the RSA Diploma.
From 2000-2002 she started working at Cultura Inglesa, Rio de Janeiro in 1993 teaching both regular classes and language development classes for teachers. She was also involved in the design and development of classroom materials and worked as a teacher trainer, preparing Brazilian teachers for the RSA Certificate and Diploma. From 2000-2002 she worked as Content Manager for the Cultura Inglesa Online developing online materials. And then in 2003 she joined Learning Factory. She was one of the editors for the Interlink series and author of Connexion.

Ricardo Sili da Silva
Ricardo Sili started his career in TEFL in 1977, teaching Brazilian young and adult learners mainly at Cultura Inglesa, Rio de Janeiro. A few years later, he became a Course Coordinator, involved in course and materials design, and a Teacher Trainer for Brazilian and native teachers of English, mainly as an RSA Certificate and Diploma tutor. He has also evaluated materials for international publishing. Ricardo has a BA and an MA in ELT, and an RSA Diploma (DOTE).
He has been working at Learning Factory since 2001, as a co-author of the Interlink series, co-editor of the Flash series and the Action series, and more recently as editor of the intermediate level series, Connexion. He also creates and edits activities for the Connexion CDRoms and IWB.

Tatiana Boynard
Tatiana Boynard started her career in the Cultura Inglesa Academic Department in 2001. She has got a degree in Languages and two postgraduate degrees, one in Portuguese and another in School Management & Pedagogic Coordination.
She joined the Learning Factory team in 2006, as an assistant editor. She assists senior editors in the production of printed and digital materials.
