Very Young Learners (4-8 years old)

June Festivals

Material needed for this activity:
• Coloured paper sheets
• Blank paper sheets
• a pack of twine
• Scissors and glue

• Find the menu of activities on the first page.

• Hand out sheets of paper to students and ask them to draw their favorite thing about June Festivals. Then, ask them to come up front and show their classmates their drawings.

 

Decoration:
• Get one colored sheet and show the students how to make a june festival flag (use the ones on the slide as models). Encourage them to make different shapes. Then, gather all the already-cut flags and start gluing them onto the twine so as to have a june festival flag line. Try to make as many as possible. After that, hang them across the room.
